On March 7, the 2023 Group Standards Approval Meeting of Fujian Daily Chemicals Association was successfully held in Juwenlee (Fujian) Cosmetics Co., Ltd. the meeting was presided over by Xie Jingyi, secretary-general of Fujian Daily Chemicals Association, and Wen Wenzhong, director of the Standardization Committee of Fujian Daily Chemicals Association, served as the leader of the approval review expert panel, and 15 members of the Standardization Committee participated in the approval review. The meeting reviewed and approved the establishment of two group standards, namely, Evaluation of Anti-wrinkle and Firming Efficacy of Cosmetics-Determination of Type I Collagen Content in Vitro, UV-induced Human Fibroblasts, proposed by Juwenlee (Fujian) Cosmetics Co., Ltd., and Camellia Seed Oil for Baby Cosmetics, proposed by Fujian SINOCOS Technology Innovation Co., Ltd.

At the meeting, as the president of Fujian Daily Chemicals Association, Lin Jianping, general manager of the Company, thanked on behalf of Fujian Daily Chemicals Association all the enterprises involved in the discussion for their efforts on the group standards of Fujian Daily Chemicals Association, and sincerely welcomed all of participants present at Juwenlee, stressing that those standards are not only the basis for improving the competitiveness of the industry and building the brand of the industry, but also the driving force and guarantee for standardizing the high-quality and standardized development of the daily chemicals industry. It is hoped that all industrial experts, universities, colleges and enterprises would work together to actively participate in the work of standard formulation, implementation and supervision, promoting the rapid development of the daily chemicals industry in Fujian.

The secretary-general Xie Jingyi introduced the background and significance of the meeting, and emphasized the importance of conducting the preliminary market research on group standards. The development of standards shall take the market demands as the starting point, and the popularization, promotion and application shall be paid attention to after the release of standards. It is hoped that by formulating the advanced and leading group standards at home, the industrial development problems would be effectively solved and the high-quality development of the daily chemicals industry in Fujian effectively promoted.

At the meeting, all experts discussed and questioned the application materials for the respective standard, and successively put forward relevant comments and suggestions from the aspects of the scientificity and rationality of all technical contents therein, as well as their coordination and operability with existing standards, and voted on whether to approve the project. Last but not least, all present experts jointly agreed that the two group standards might be approved since both of them met the requirements for the establishment of group standards of Fujian Daily Chemicals Association.

The convening of the approval meeting will help promote the technical innovation of the daily chemicals industry in Fujian, facilitate all enterprises to improve their quality and efficiency, enhance the technical exchanges and interactions between industries, and help all enterprises develop steadily.
